Great Match!

Last night I met up with a friend for the Women's US Open tennis finals. Unfortunately to get there at our stated meeting time meant leaving during the Epic 5 set Federer vs Djokovic semifinal game. But thankfully as a fast walker and a long 5th set I made it to Madison Sq park in time to see the last 3 sets of the game, and the win by Djokovic.

The park was crowded and with the audience's moans, groans, and applause I felt like I was actually in Arthur Ashe stadium.

After the crowd cleared I was able to grab a great seat to watch the women's match. Unfortunately the game was delayed and we ended up waiting for the game longer than the game itself, which was pretty one sided with an easy win by Kim Clijsters.

Afterward we headed over to the Hearland Brewery and had a couple of beers. I went with the Pumpkin ale, which was amazing! Much smoother than the Smuttynose I had last week.

Ok, off to church, lab, then gym to workout and watch the men's tennis final, gotta multitask ;)
